Q 6. 0 0ur Waacs, Waves, and Spurs The CIRI- RESERVES has been more active in outside activities this year than in most previous years. One of the main war work functions had been the making of U. S. O. scrapbooks for the military hospitals. These scrapbooks contain things of interest, such as cartoons and short stories, and reports indicate that they have been very well received by the service men. As in former years the club distributed Thanksgiving baskets, and dolls were taken to the Crippled Childrens Home at Prince Crossing. Valentines were also sent, for the First time, to the children at Prince Crossing. One of the outstanding programs of the First semester was the joint meeting of G. R. and Hi-Y, at which the speaker was the Rev. Don Crocker of Naperville. Taking everything into consideration, this has been one of the cluh's most successful years. 50 M. Reiser, l..
