The purpose of these clubs is to promote conversational French and to learn more about the literature, customs, and people of France. This year their main proiects have been correspondence carried on between students here and boys and girls in France, a series of meetings dealing with French his- tory, and a puppet stage and puppets. The Girls' Athletic Association pro- motes interest in girls' physical education. This year the Girl Reserves was divided into two clubs, the senior and freshman.
