16 During her years as Dean of Students, many have come to know and feel the wis- dom of Miss Colpitts. She has demonstrated an active belief in student ideas and a ready support for dynamic, constructive change. Many have appreciated her re- sponse to apprehensive parents that Wheaton has confidence in its girls, in their capacity for leadership and mature judgment in all situations. | From individual welcome letters in September through holiday parties and the presentation of coveted recipes to marriage-bound seniors at graduation time, Miss Colpitts and Barking Acres will remain famous for special attention to those little things which do, indeed, make Wheaton, Wheaton.
