Having absorbed five consecutive de feats the Maroon and White determined to beat Elmwood Park Again they 'Fought bravely but the failure to cop italuze on several breaks handed them another disheartening loss of 47 to 45' Perhaps the Warriors were lust as surprised as University High when they snapped their long losing streak by post ing a victory of 57 to 44' Chrouser and Hare fired in 'Il points each to spark Wheaton to victory It was refreshing to change the routine' Dlgnlfled and cold Luther North smothered any hugh hopes that the War rlors might have had' Still unbeaten in basketball competition they had no in tentuons of losing to the Academy Thus once again the Warriors fell 48 to 56 Much apprehension marked the calm before the Warriors again met IC Both provement' But underneath the lights It was IC that controlled the dribbling and backboards Leading 20 to 'll after the first quarter they continued on un molested to win by a score of 66 to 38' Slaughterlng their next opponent ll Ivana Christian 71 to 48 the Warriors began to show signs of life' With high hopes the bug five faced Fenton in a firey hot game' Both teams experienced dramatic moments' But Fenton applying adequate pressure while retaining her lead went on to win 61 to 54' With good form Faulkner lumps and fires for 2 more paints' From left to nght VanEngen Faulkner Mohr Hare Bosgraf Sullivan Coach Pooley Chrouser Regler McKellin Rockness Thompson Supp and Harris I . . . .
