The 1967-68 year for the Sunshine Society was again, as always, a very fulfilling ad- venture for our members. We began our year with the initiating of 29 new members. Next we honored our mothers at the Mother-Daughter Salad-Bar. For Thanksgiving the Sunshiners distributed Thanksgiving Baskets . One of our biggest events of the year was the Christmas Dance- -Snowflake Fantasy. Our last big event of the year was the Ideal Ladies Tea. We hope that someone has benefited from our ability to spread sun- shine and kindness into his life during 1967-68 as we fulfill our motto- - Others . 22

The Student Council is an organization consisting of elected students who represent the student body. The class presidents are also included. The Council is set up similar to our national government, and it tries to solve any problems before it by the students. It also sponsors several convocations throughout the year.
