The 1966-1967 year for the Sunshine Society was again, as always, a very fulfilling ad- venture for those who participated. This was a ver y busy year for all of us, but we en- joyed every minute of it. We began our year with the initation of the new members on September 12. Nextwe honored our mothers at the Mother- Daughter Banquet. Our most thoughtful and kindest act for others was the distribution of the Thanksgiving Baskets. We enjoyed this most because we have the opportunity to make others happy, and we were rewarded with their happiness. Then we realized Christmas was just around the comer, and we presented our annual Christmas Dance - -Winter Wonderland. At the end of the first semester we gave a breakfast for those students with a B or above av- erage. Our last big event of the year was the Ideal Ladies Tea. We hope that someone has benefited from our ability to spread Sunshine and kindess into his life during 1966- 67. We, as the members of the society, have been thoroughly inspired by the acts we have been able to perform for Others. This necessitated the omission of some desirable copy, but does allow time for auto- graphing before the end of school. LaVonne and her faithful typists, JoAnn and Cynthia, worked many after -school hours. Nick and Lynn did a fine job on sales and advertising. Jim Craig is responsible for the spectacular original art work.
