12:34 Seats! Silence! Study! Echoes in the hall ! Don ' t you dare ! What ' s new on the Senior bulletin board? Students wait impatiently for the bell or the sound of a teachers ' voice saying, Excused for lunch : the thunder of feet often leaves them crestfallen, for they realize they won ' t be the first in line. Some eat at the School House Inn, uptown, or at home. After lunch there are many scenes of activity: girls primp in the rest room; students go uptown; and in nice weather groups gather on the front lawn or in their cars. Some do last minute studying. In the halls students wait outside classrooms or hustle all directions, but everyone is engaged in that universal pastime -talking.

Bomb Shelter Debate What ' s cooking? What’s the Decision? English, social studies, home ec. , agriculture, commercial courses, science, and math all play an important part in our future. From the science and math classes will come our future space age scientists, from our future farmers and home makers, the commercial and English classes will help make us public speakers, secretaries, typists, and bookkeepers. Dig that snake dance. Campus snack bar. These young boys took time off to become land judging champs. Laughter, happy talk, and animated faces indicate that school is out when the final bell rings at 3:35. The doors release a flow of students in all directions; time is now theirs. Some head for part-time jobs, uptown, farms. Others relax at the School House Inn or home. Still others use spare time for hobbies, which include reading, music, cars, and collecting coins or stuffed animals. Crowning of the Homecoming Queen anticipated by student body.
