Tomahawk These pictures show the presentation of the Tomahawk and a close up of it in the trophy case. Mr. Jones and Mr. Gwin are shown with the Tomahawk in the assembly where the presentation was made. The Tomahawk is taken by a school in the Kankakee Valley who is able to defeat, in basketball, the holder of it. We defeated DeMotte and took the Tomahawk on December 20, but lost it to Reming- ton in the final game of the K. V. T. on January 14. The winner of the K. V. T. wins the Tomahawk no matter who holds it at the beginning of the tourney.
