UN fit ll Solo trumpet Doug Prosser Cabovej. Senior Scott Thompson Cleftj enioys a relaxing moment outside during lunch. Throughout the football season, the Wheat Ridge High Marching Band, Flag and Rifle Team spirit was evident in their excellent display of talent and color at each home game During the games they cheered on the Farmers with such tunes as the theme from Rocky , You Are My Only Sunshine , and the Farmers Fight Song. As the Band marched down the field during the halftime shows, each beat of the drum and clap of the cymbals displayed the ultimate Farmer Feverl Cheerleaders and Pom Pons incited an old tradition this year, the Farmer Spirit Trophy. This is awarded at the end of the year to the class which has been the most spirited. Pep rallys soon became highly competitive as each class vehemently joined in on all the fun and yelling.
