AFS HCDCDTENAN NY Mui P '73 ffffgflf' 'T Fred Taylor and Bob Strawn Much of the excitement ot the Spring of 1966 was caused by the annual AFS Hootenanny. This year's hoot was extremely successful as there were many varied types of groups for the large crowd on hand. Farmers were thrilled by folk music, that expressed the cruelty ot the mod- ernday-world, nonsensical sing-along numbers, and rock-and-roll. The mood was changed sever- al times throughout the night from the sadder end of the scale to a more delightful and humorous pace by our answer to the Smothers Brothers. ..,. f 7-1513 .,, T , The Action Brass SPANISH PLAY EN LA ARDIENTE OSCURIDAD This bilingual production of Don Antonio Buero Valleio's En La Ardiente Oscuridad or In The Burning Darkness presented by the Spanish V class ot Wheat Ridge was a great success. Under the direction of Miss Lynen with Cyndy Fowler as student director, and narrated in English by Peggy Morrison, the play pleased the large crowd it attracted. left to right: Diane Tribelhorn, Mr. Truglio, Peggy Morrison, Tom Baker, Judy Seeley, Rocky Bowman, Susie Walden, Greg Moore, Sandy Deaton, Ben King, Sally Steusloff, Tim Jones, Christine Siliestrom, Mike Dougherty.
