PAUL RANDALL BILL MITCHELL ANITA VAN NATTER Pl'6Sid6I1I Vice President Secretary lST SEMESTER OFFICERS The Class of '54 In 1950, a Freshman Class, determined to make a name for itself, came to Wheat Ridge. As Freshmen, even in our first term, we were wise in our choice of our officers--Jean Arnold, Jim Petrie and Missy Bachman were the lead- ers, to be followed by Beverly Pettit, Fred Hood and Larry Nicholl as the second term officers. With these officers in charge, the Freshmen presented an assembly under the disguise of Dt. I.Q. We then joined together with the Soph- omores to present a Talent Show and All School Party. At Blue and Gold Day, we finally proved the athletic ability of our class, by giving the other classes a hard workout. The class honored Jean Arnold and Fred Hood as attendants to the King and Queen. Even at the beginning of our Sophomore year, we knew the year was to be a success with officers such as Bill Mi- tchell, Fred Hood and Kent Sivers as the first term leaders, and with Ronnie Ericson, Fred Hood and Arlin Hubka for the second term. They proved their abilities by helping the class present a successful class assembly, and again to participate in a Talent Show. With a great deal of enthusiasm, the members of our class displayed potential abilities and ideas in Blue and Gold Day activities. We put Jean Arnold and Ronnie Ericson into the position of King and Queen attendants. Our Junior year was started appropriately by selecting such capable leaders as Paul Randall, Bill Mitchell and A- nita Van Natter. During their term, they proved their ability by again putting on a good All School Party with the Seniors. We presented a most successful Junior Play, entitled The Divine F1ora. It was the story about a poor wall- flower who was to be rejuvinated into the 'Belle of the Ball. We then teamed together to present an enjoyable as- sembly called, A Modern Mother Goose. The second semester has again started off well, for Kent Sivers, Arlayne Hurt and Missy Bachman were elected to carry us through the rest of this great year. With thrilling plans for a beauti- ful Junior-Senior Prom, and with high hopes of success on Blue and Gold Day, how could we miss? 2ND SEMESTER OFFICERS Ng 4 Q -Q, 5 KENT SIVERS ARLAYNE HURT MISSY BACHMAN President Vice President Secretary
