Supvrintvnilvnt Srbunla Mr. Stevens Superintendent Paul C. Stevens has directed the educational program of the Wheat Ridge Public Schools for the past seventeen years. He is de- scribed by his associates as a man with great enthusiasm, boundless energy, quick wit, and keen judgement. Students know and respect him for his impartiality and friendly manner. His educational leadership and a strong determination for the Wheat Ridge Schools to rank with the best schools in our nation are admired by all.

It is composed of five members elected by the citizens of the W'heat Ridge School District. These men spend many hours in board meetings directing the course of action for our schools. They render this valuable community service because of their keen interest in youth and a firm belief that through proper education lies the safeguard for our Ameri- can way of life. MR. HEASTON: In the eleven years that Mr. Heaston has been with Wheat Ridge, he has worked hard to provide a well-rounded curricular and extra-curricular life. He believes that il' this is accomplished, Wheat Ridge will be the bcst school to be found. Graduating from Colo- rado State College ol' Education, he received an A.B. in commercial arts and administration. He did graduate work at D.U. and C.S.C.E. and earned an M.S. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, and dogs. ilministrutiun MR. FLEENOR: This is Mr. Fleenor's second year as Dean of Boys. As such he has done an outstanding job and all the boys are proud of him. He sponsors W Club, teaches Algebra, and is our head track coach. He graduated from Minnesota University and received a TS. Everyone knows that his hobbies are golf and s nng. MRS. PAUL: Mrs. Paul has been Girls' Advisor for two years. She is willing to help anyone who has a problem, and usually has a solution for anything. She teaches Latin I and English IV, and sponsors the Juniors and Girls' Club. Her hobbies are tennis, bowling, and all sfmorts. Everyone likes Mrs. Paul as much as she likes Item.
