BOB SAUER t Ax DON SHIRK DOROTHY Joi-1NsoN Sophomore Class In September, 1945, a. green group of Freshmen entered the portals of Wheat Ridge to attend high school classes for the first time, determined to distinguish themselves in school affairs. Let us look at their record thus far. As Freshmen footballers and basket- eers they didn't take any championships, but showed themselves to be good, clean players. They also presented a very good assembly, and proved eager, co-operative workers on concessions. During the sophomore year they proceeded further along these lines, work- ing with vigor in all school activities. Bob Sauer was chosen to lead, with Don Shirk to aid him, and Dorothy Johnson to keep the records. Sophomores even played first team basketball. An excellent assembly, full of laughter, with a Hollywoodian theme, showed real class spirit. In the two years ahead lie fun, work, and accomplishments.
