Senior Class The class of '47 has had one of the most successful high school careers of any class ever to graduate from W. H. S. When Freshmen, its members entered into high school wholeheartedly and gave the upperclassmen a tough time keeping them down. As Sophomores, the Class of '47 again showed the upperclassmen how to do things. An all-school party was sponsored which has never been equaled. Finally as upper class- men, the Class of '47 determined to set an example for the underclassmen. Selected as the Junior Class Play was, Everybody's Crazy, one of the best plays ever put on in the W. H. S. Auditorium. When May rolled around, a very successful Prom was given to the Seniors at the Lakewood Country Club. At last, members of the Class of '47 became mighty Seniors. Their duty was to lead the entire school through a success- ful year, which they did. More money was made on the concessions and auctions of the Farmer's Frolics than ever before. The Senior Play Out ofythe Frying Pan was highly successful. The class left the largest sum of money ever to be left for a class gift. On May 29th, graduation day arrived, bringing happy memories of four years at Wheat Ridge, but sadness at parting from old friends and scenes.
