BASKETBALL Our basketball season opened w1th everyoody ln a hlgh spirit ready to go out and wln We had a very successful season le came 1n a tie for second place wlth Golden We then played Golden the tle off to see who would enter the d1BtPlCt w1th Aurora who took f1PBt 1n the league We beat the Golden Demons in the play off to let us enter the Dlstrlcte le played Castle Rock the flrst nlght w1th the score at the en of the game belng Castle Rock 23, Wheat Rldge 22 The next nlght we played Idaho Sprlngs beatlng them 27 to 22 Again we had to play Castle Rock thzs t1me getting beat by a score of Z8 29 Thls ended the season wlth the boys stlll 1n very hlgh sp1r1t Fred LM6d1Ck9 the high point man of the season was put on the A11 Conference team, and the rest of h1s team mates elected h1m honorary capta1n of the season of 43 . .
