His obgective was physical fitness. Starting with February 15, Alice Jenkins took over the presidency. She accomplished a revisal of the school constitution. Her term was over April 2. From here on Ruth Ann Allison was president and her objective was a clean up campaign through-out the school. The school secretary for the first semester was Louise Cramton. She resigned her position to become Editor of the Annual, however. Until a revision is made in the Constitution of Wheat Ridge, there is no way in which this vacancy may be filled. Student Affairs appointed a temporary secretary to complete the year. wus ygwce 650 an Why 49? HIGH SCHOOL . ! I X xi A ...W -,v Y . Y . Q . I . . The boys have a fine spirit and the ability to win games but the main drawback is inexperience. 'There were only four lettermen back this year. These were: Knox Pnarisa Stan Wilmore, Al Anderson and Don Knippel. The season started with tne Farmers beating Littleton 12 to O. The team showed great promise but it needed experience. The second game of the season Aurora upset Wheat Ridge 7-O. The game was a hard fight and was played in midfield most of the time. In a practice game Wheat Ridge was beaten by Englewood 20-13. The teams were unevenly matched in weight because their men outweighed ours 20 pounds to a man. In the third game of the year the Farmers massacrered the Arvada Redskins 12-0.
