Larry Hartwig TAKE CARE OF MY LITTLE GIRL This is the story of Elizabeth Ericson, for whom Midwestern U is a bright new world, and of her steady boy friend, Joe, who finds himself competing with Chad, a prominent fraternity man. Mrs Ericson, Elizabeth's mother, has written asking her sorority, the Queens, to - Take care of my little girl. Shy Becky and forthright Adelaide are two of her friends and Rushees of the Queens. As the play unfolds, it pictures the inner workings of the sorority with lovely Merry as presidentg wise-cracking Casey, the intellectualg good natured Margeg smooth Dallasg sweet and capable Mother Appleg the influential alumna, Mrs Bellowsg and other sorority sisters and Rushees. Joe is forgotten for a while, as Liz accepts Chad's frat ping and Sam becomes the heart-interest of Dallas. At mid-year when the social whirl has caught up with Liz and she is conditioned in Zoology, a new awakening dawns. Liz meets the challenge and comes to understand tolerance, friendship and real love.
