A - H55 PROPHECY S M A l l me OR Although the CLASS OF SO graduated they didn't stop their associations. They have done this by having reunions. Let's look in on just such a reunion. It is a warm evening in May, 1970, at the Wharton Memorial Park. As we listen to their conver- sations we learn of their fortunes and occupations. KENNETH SPOON ..... the Class President, is a famous pharmicist and specializes in making children's candy pills. RAY HUMPHREY ..... due to his experience in running a long distance in a short time and jumping fences is the U. S. Champion hurdle jumper. GAYNELLE ENGLAND 1S the head of nurses at Wharton's hospital which was dedicated by a man named Howard Rinehart who made his millions by teaching at Wharton High School CARL LONG who started out his career at Penn State was last seen in the State Pen PATSY KEAR is the editor in ch1ef of Wharton's daily paper and specializes in writing the Lovelorn column ART SHIELDON started out his career in the Navy but getting sea sick and all found it pretty tough so he now rents row boats at the Swamp Ditch VIRGINIA SHANE now lives on the outskirts of Lovell and teaches gym class at Salem BARBARA TRAXLER due to her exper1ence U1 teaching and dairy farming is now the first woman Vo Ag teacher Wharton has ever had WESLEY DEVENE because of glVl.Ilg an oration at his graduation is now in poll tics and running for governor of Ohio with his headquarters at Arlington T Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q .
