DEDICATION The year 1 985 has been a tremendous year for music, bringing music lovers from all cultures together. Young and old alike share their very love for todays music We are thankful to the artists who have contributed their talents to music The great success of Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie; the rising stars of Prince, Duran Duran, and Culture Club; and the comebacks of Tina Turner and Chicago are only the beginning of future music successes The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, seems to shine continously with the passage of each new day. The music industry showed its gratitude and affection to its fans throughout the world by forming the group Band Aid ' . Rock stars from several different groups assembled to help the starving children of Ethiopia by recording the song Feed the World: Do They Know Ifs Christmas? . This song of generosity and hope will be an inspiration for the whole world We, the yearbook staff, would like to dedicate this yearbook to the music industry. Join with us in this musical celebration, a celebration for the whole world to be in perfect harmony. Let us put our hearts and minds together to make this harmony perfect today, forever, and always. 1
