As Freshmen, we walked through the door Strangers to this place. Fear and wonder could be seen on every Freshman face. jL , The halls were huge — the school unknown; The days seemed like forever. The crises we went through that year we now can scarce remember. Our sophomore year we weren ' t so scared: We knew our way around. No longer new, and not so shy, Our Freshman fears we ' d drowned. But now we were too confident And many times we fell. Homework seemed of no importance — Quite unlike the bell. As Juniors we were more mature, We knew what was expected. We did our homework because we knew Our future would be effected. We started to prepare for college Or for something else; We knew that soon it would be time To take care of ourselves. Senior year is the famous one Because it is the best. The memories of our Senior Year Will bury all the rest. We rule the school, we have our fun, We wonder what ' s to come. Get ready for the future, kids, The present is on the run. Good luck to us — good luck to you The Class of ' 86! we hope it all works out for us — The future each one picks. Now say Good-bye t o things we ' ve known For four entire years. Good-bye, North High! We give to you and to ourselves three cheers! Jennifer Connors SAD GOODBYES We ' ll be leaving soon So before we go Let us tell you how We loved you so. we faced alot of hardships And yet we still held on It ' s hard to believe, that in awhile We will soon be gone. Those memories of yesterday Lie deep inside our hearts We ' ll cherish them forever For they will always be a part; Of every little thing we do We never will forget Jhoses high school days, and challenges That we, as students, met. The teachers here, have taught us How to learn, and so we say Thank you for your wisdom You ' ve helped each step along the way. And let us not forget our friends Who have shared in all we do They ' ve been there through the roughest times To all friends, We love you. Good luck in life, and don ' t forget Those Glory days we ' ve shared Remember all the happy times And friends who really cared. Dolly Palmer

As it comes time to say good-bye to our school, our teachers, and even some of our friends, we look to the future and remember the past. We have spent the last four years of our lives here at North High. What has that time meant? We came into this school as lost little freshmen, in time we came to know our way around, we got to know some of the teachers, and we made new friends. Through the years we grew and matured. Our friend- ships strengthened as we came to know ourselves and our friends better. The many activi- ties helped us in this, as did the dances, the pep rallies, and the plays. We were prepared for that big world out there by the things we learned, not only through academics, but through our relationships with other people, our experiences and our feelings. We look forward to graduation and the freedom that day offers, but as we think about it it scares us. we must think about what it will be like to take care of ourselves from now on. we no longer think of adulthood as one big party with no rules, we will have to be respon- sible and independent young adults. But even that is less threatening because we know we have been given a good education in many ways, we are Weymouth North High School ' s Class of ' 86 and we will make it! Good luck to us all, and thanks to North High for being the inspiration for so many special dreams . . . and the source of so many precious memories. m Jennifer Connors It is hard to believe that it is already our year to graduate, it does not seem like it has been four years since we came here to form the Class of 1986. Our class came together through school closings and redistricting. We overcame our rivalries and became the best class ever to graduate from North High. During our four years here we led the way for all the underclassmen and showed them how to do it right! We have had a lot of good times here with friends and teachers. Just because we are leaving does not mean that we have to forget them, we will always remember the people here and all the places we went. These are the times we will look back on for the rest of our lives and remember that these are the best of times. f f . iV| M — Debbie Wyman P. 4
