Weymouth North ' s football team faced a severe challenge this year. The new school was left with a schedule of nine games with class A teams, six of which were rated in the top ten in the state. From the beginning the Maroons gave their supporters all they could ask for. After four hard losses, the Maroons put it all together and came out winners defeating Waltham 16-6. No senior will forget the battle, between Quincy and North. An undefeated team, looking for the championship, was lucky to come away with a 14-13 win. In the closing minutes of the game the Maroons had rallied to score a touchdown. Although they could have easily kicked the extra point for a tie, Weymouth North tried for victory and failed. They did not, however, fail in the eyes of their fans. These are the reasons why the pride of North continues. Marie E. Abbott Robert Alabiso ludith C. Alemian Linda Almeida Paul A. Alosa Susan M.
