r this Dr Claude B Knlght Mxss Floy Floyd Mr F D Nicholson Mr Warren Sarber Mr Max Fllson Mr Ray Clalborne Mr Mat Hams New School Board Takes Over Superintendent of Schools Ray Claiborne faced a completely new school board th1s year Mr Mat Harrls replaced Dr Claude Knlght on February 19 1957 Mr Max Fnlson took the place of long term board member C H Foresee Afterward Dr Kmght replaced Mr Rtchard Roberts Mr Warren Sarber was elected and Mlss Floy Floyd took the place of her father the late Mr Ben D Floyd Under tts offlcers Dr Claude Kmght presldent Mr Warren Sarber vtce presldent and Miss Floy Floyd,secretary the school board has made numerous tmprovements tn Wewoka Hlgh School Among these are four classrooms of new furmture a newly remodeled sctence depart ment new kllns for the art and home economlcs classrooms tape recorders for speech vocal muslc and Spamsh departments and new band umforms valued at about S7 000 It lS mterestlng to note that four of the fxve votmg members are W H S alumm They are Dr Kmght Miss Floyd Mr Sarber and Mr Fllson . . , v 'X Q .
