Exim! The staff couldn't let the opportunity go by to add a miscellaneous page about the senior class. Let's drop in first on a per- formance of the senior play, DOWN TO EARTH. Cast pictures appear at right. At top right are Lanny Anderson, Hank Dotson, Geraldine Waddle, and Betty Brooks, angels returned to earth. Center picture shows Marilyn Aldridge, Jerry Emmons, and Charles Asbill, standing, and Virginia Gar- rett seated. Standing in the lower picture are Marilyn Belford, Rosalie Roff, and Robert Parris. Seated are Paul Huser, and Jone Yan- dell. The seniors supported our publications bet- ter than any other class. The seniors had 85 per cent of the class subscribing to the Little Tiger newspaper and TOO per cent sub- scribihg to the annual. In the athletic department, the seniors played a leading role. The top eight players on the basketball team are seniors. The starting lineup on the football team con- tain several seniors. As this book goes to press, senior debaters Jone Yandell and Rosalie Roff, have been two of four debaters carrying home two tournament trophies. Because of these and many, many other activities the seniors have participated in, we of the staff feel that the seniors of 1954 have been an active class worthy of recogni- tion in the Tiger.

Money from the concessions helps pay for the iunior-senior banquet. The iuniors have so many VlP's in athletics, music, drama, speech, and student government that there's not enough space to mention all their activities. We'Il list a few on this and the next three pages. Geraldine Ackenhausen and Nancy Chaney are staff members. Nancy's a first chair flutist, also. Kenneth Barbre is an all-round athlete and was a one-man track team in '53. Lynn Biggers is a debater, band member, S. C. secretary. Robin Coleman is one of the Brains of the class.
