Semmes ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE The class of 1970-71 is to be commended. Many of the ones who started with you have not completed their goal. This is a small class compared to some of those in the past few years and yet there is much that can be said in your favor. You have some diligent workers, some talented students, and some great citizens. It is my desire that you make the most of your opportunities and that you contribute to society all that you are capable of giving to it. It is only when each American gives his best that we will have the great nation our forefathers had visions of for us. Your school spirit has been great, your enthusiasm for life has been superb. May you take these characteristics with you. For the students who are not graduating, I hope that you will continue to grow in the favorable attitudes you have shown this year and that your desire for knowledge will increase with every passing day. The pride that you have taken in your school and the words of appreciation you have expressed tells the world that we do have great youth today and we can have faith in them. I appreciate the attitude most of you have toward the faculty and I'm glad that you realize you are blessed with one of the finest teaching staffs found anywhere. I wish you success and happiness in the future and I congratulate the faculty advisors and staff for the excellent job you have done in preparing your yearbook, and as the years nass by and you reminisce you will treasure the memories of your days at Wewahitchka High School 2
