be ,A The most easily recognized trait of WHS students is the enthusiasm with which we do thingsg it is the spirit that moves our school. The students and faculty alike get enthusiastic over many events during the school year-the Prom, band concerts, pep rallies, arrival of class rings, Homecoming, and much more. Much enthusiasm is displayed by those who represent WHS in statewide and national competition, and by our athletes who are dedicated and work so hard. The Indian spirit remains strong because of the enthusiasm of the students and faculty. Above left: Band members give crucial support to the Indians during the Clanton game. Above: Ricky Wilkerson tackles a Holtville back to save a touchdown. Left: Wetumpka is well- known for their enthusiastic pep rallies, as is evidenced here during the Troy pep rally.

The years in high school are made better and more fun because of the people there. Varying degrees of friendship are evident at WHS. Some of us are inseparable, and some of us are buddies, some are acquaintances, and some of us are in love. Whatever the degree, WHS is a friendly place. Over the years the degree of friendship may change, but all of us will forever remember the many things we have done with our friends at Wetumpka High. I2 Xi v, , ati, 4- f' s . 15,3 '33
