'll IIITNT Cllll Ulll The Wethersfield Student Council is the representative student governing body in the high school. The officer candidates are approved by the faculty and elected by popular vote of the stu- dent body. All classes and organizations elect a representative to serve on the council for a year. Class presidents are auto- matic members ofthe council. Mr. Miller, Principal, is the spon- sor. He is a past chairman of the Illinois State Board of Student Councils and now serves as an adviser to the Pekin Dis- trict Convention. Phil Morrow president of the council and Mr. Miller attended the National Convention in Toledo, Ohio during the summer. The Wethersfield Council belongs and takes an active part in the District, State and National organizations of JWUDENT Com, Student Council. EPM Borora, Phill CIL MEMBERS.
