Fellow Students, We, the graduating class of 1969, are a small segment of a generation who will guide this great nation in solving the many critical problems which we face today, at home and in other parts of the world. As the leaders of tomorrow we must keep faith in our fellow man. We must strive to make a better world for all peoples. No generation before us has had such opportunities and such tools as we have, to make this a better world which we all seek for our fellow man and for ourselves. Graduation from high school is just another step in the direction of a meaningful life for others and for ourselves. Life, with its hardships and worry is like athletics, whether you win or lose you have to pick yourself up and keep trying. We know our social problems, we must continue to learn the ways and means of solving them without infringing upon the rights of our fellow man. As future leaders, we all seek contentment and if we each in our own small way can use these tools to build a better world, where there is food for all, decent shelter for all and equal education for all, we will find the contentment which we seek.
