GEORGE HOLBROOK PRESIDENT S MESSAGE To the Class of 49 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he IS old he will not depart from it 6 Old Testament We as Seniors are leaving the security and companionship of our High School We are graduating and leaving some of us to go to higher schools some to go out into the world of business cmd industry and others into the service Regardless of our individual futures we have been trained for them Our High School has left no flaws in our education in tellectual knowledge wise and cultural It has not given to us only the knowledge that we seek but has given us a way of life lt has trained us to meet the world with confidence It has taught us tolerance and sportsmanship Wherever our paths may lead whatever we may become in future years no matter how long we shall l1ve we shall not forget the training we have received in Wethersfield High School EDITOR'S MESSAGE The honor which you have bestowed in mak- ing me the Editor-in-Chief of this, your year- book, is deeply appreciated.
