Louis Feingold, President Susan Dunn, Secretary Leah Twitty, Vice President Jane Burson, Treasurer Recognizing the importance of communication in today's complex world, the Playmakers is dedicated to full development of its members. Areas of work in oral interpretation, speech, acting, and technical training in play production provide interested students both training and an outlet of expression. The district one-act play The Gallery placed fourth at Valdosta early in December. Only the guide and the old lady have speaking parts in this avantgarde play. Louis Feingold as the guide shows Jan Rackly the paintings and the statues (Elliott Hendricks, Marla Cooper, Frank Lamb) which all remind her of deceased family members. After wishing for her son (Jimmy Stewart), who makes a brief appearance with his girl (Leah Twitty), the old lady is ushered to the empty pedestal. The playmakers decided to tackle a comedy in the Spring called Everybody's Crazy . This three-act farce involves all the tricks three college students resort to in order to keep paying customers for their hotel.
