CLASS SWEETHEARTS i Q . Seniors: Julie Heidemann Tim Hansen Juniors: Becca Zhulkie Tom Goldsworthy Sophomores: Trina LaCosse Bob Niemi Freshman: Kristen Portale Robby Hebert WINTER CARNIVAL This year, as every year, Winter Carnival was a time to unwind from the same old routine of school and have some fun. It is a tradition at Westwood to have dress-up days throughout the whole Winter Carnival week. This year we had dress-up day, wild west day, toga day, T-shirt and jeans day, and of course, red, white, and blue day. Just before the start of Winter Carnival week, each individual class got together to pick their sweethearts. When Friday rolled around, we had our annual Teachers vs. Seniors games. This year the teachers were victorious in both the boys' basketball game and in the girls' volleyball game. That night the Westwood-Iron Mountain game was won by us with a score of 61-52. The class Sweethearts were introduced during half-time of the game and there was a dance honoring them afterwards. All in all, the Winter Carnival week was another success and a good time for everyone. 84 winter carnival
