Principal ' s Message ■ -• . % Once again it is time to say farewell to a graduating class, in this case the Class of 1988. In many ways this graduation marks the end of an era for the school. The Class of 1988 is the last class of over two hundred members which will graduate in the foreseeable future; its passing makes us a much smaller school, a school which is bound to change in many ways during the next few years. It is our hope that you have enjoyed your years here and that you have taken full advantage, as individuals, of the many opportunities for personal growth and intellectual development. We are happy in the certain knowledge that many of you leave us extraordinarily well prepared for the tasks you are about to undertake. Take with you, then, our congratulations on your success- es here and our best wishes for a successful and rewarding future. Mr. Philip F. Flaherty Assistant Principal ' s Message From your nervous arrival just four short years ago, you quickly became a part of the unique atmosphere and ex- citement at the high school. Your dedication to excellence and committment to excel quickly became evident not only in the classroom but in athletics, theatre, music, student government, and a wide array of activities. I was especially impressed by the leadership that emerged and the manner in which your class officers and student government worked to maintain and improve the quality of life at Westwood High School. Your positive contribu- tions and pursuits enhanced the reputation of our school and community and left an excellent model for future classes.
