The courses in Industrial Technology are taught by Mr. Laurence Rett- man, department chairman, Mr. Thomas nelson and Mrs. Lisa Bowler. Students learn about electricity and electronics, mechanical drawing, metalworking, wood working, architecture and graphic arts. Skills are extended and perfected by hands-on and practical experiences. An extra thanks is extended to the advanced students in Graphic Arts who are responsible for much of the print- ing for special school events. Over the years, the Business Department has helped to prepare many students for college or for careers in the business world. Under the enthusiastic guidance of Mrs. Irene Dhosi, Mrs. riatalie Carey, and Miss Mary Conroy, students are offered courses such as typing, shorthand, word processing, business law, and ac- counting. Reading, writing, understand- ing, and speaking are all empha- sized. In the process of learning a foreign language, students also have the opportunity to study about a country ' s culture thus broadening their language experi- ences.
