The Science Department, di- rected by Dr. John Griffin, pro- vided students with a diverse choice of courses to select from, which included Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics-all offered at dif- ferent levels to suit the indi- vidual. Students were also en- couraged annually to participate in the Science Fair. Courses ranged from European History to Chinese Civilization to Econom- ics. Especially bright will be our memories of U.S. History, taught by Mr. Thomas Brown and Miss Priscilla Congdon during junior year. Senior year was highlight- ed with the offering of a new Gov- ernment and Politics class, as well as having the opportunity to take traditional favorites such as Psychology and Sociology. Mr. William Delsignore Director MUSIC Mrs. Carol Holder The Art Department offers stu- dents an opportunity to ex- ' press their creative abilities in a wide variety of ways. It offers courses such as Fine Arts, Art History, Drawing and Painting, and Ceramics. Under the di- rection of Nr. Thomas Delsig- nore, the art faculty, including Mr. Michael Milan, Mrs. Judith DesPres, and Mrs. Carol Hold- er, was instrumental in help- ing students with individual projects in the visual arts. Mrs. Judith DePres Miss Frances Trisorio 26 Mr. James Qiurleo Director Under the direction of Mr. James Qiurleo, the Music De- partment continued to grow in new and exciting ways while maintaining its long held traditions. Many new courses were offered this year such as Honors Music Lis- tening, a course which enabled more of the student body to participate in music. This year the Concert Band and Orchestra were led by Mr. Qiurelo; the Double Quartet, the Glee Club, and the Chorale by Mrs. Maija Gray, and the Fine Arts and Music Program were taught by Miss Frances Trisorio.
