CULTURE SHOCK? Mr. Robert Burke HolaL. Bonjour!...Gutentag!... These were some of the greetings which welcomed us into the various classes of the Foreign Language Department. Under the guidance of Mrs. Elaine Doucette, this de- partment offered courses such as German and Latin as well as the traditional French and Spanish. Thanks to this hard-working staff, we learned about foreign cultures and reached fluency in three modern languages. Nobody will ever forget Senora Perry ' s fi- las , Senor Dhimitri ' s plays, or Madame Doucette ' s oral drills. Some of us also got to experience foreign cultures first-hand as we toured countries such as Spain, France, and Germany. Thanks to all for a true cultural experience at WHS!
