PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS Industrial Arts this year, with the guid- ance of Area Coordinator Mr. Lawrence Rettman, offered a wide selection of courses to students planning a vocation- al or technical career. These courses in- cluded graphic arts, woodworking, archi- tecture, electricity, and mechanical drawing. AT THE OFFICE Mrs. Natalie Carey Headed by Mr. Rettman, this year ' s Business Department gave students the opportunity to acquire the basic skills es- sential in today ' s business world. The courses Included typing, accounting. Law, shorthand, data processing, and office procedures. Stu- dents will be able to rely on the skills which they gained from this department in college or In their careers. Mrs. Irene Dhosi Mrs. Barbara Brennan Mr. Albert Nolan THE MOST DANGEROUS JOB Front: Mr. Donald Beurman (Director). Back: Mr. Edward Marx, Mr. Lawrence Rettman, Mr. James Pender. Missing: Mr. Robert Burke, Mr. William Ducheneau, Mr. Raymond Kodzis. Under the colorful direction of Mr. Donald Beurman, students enjoyed a truly beneficial education on driving. Mr. Beurman did not make his class easy; students worked for their certifi- cates. Six hours at the wheel were re- quired to pass. In addition to the class work. Those teachers who could be seen with their feet on the brake in- cluded Mr. Marx, Mr. Rettman. Mr. Kod- zis, Mr. Burke (also seen In classroom), Mr. Pender, and Mr. Ducheneau.
