IN PYTHAGOREAN TERMS The math department, under the direction of IVIr. James Pender, offered a wide variety of courses, ranging from Math I to A. P. Calculus. Students having troubles always found help in the Math Seminar room. The addition of a computer specialist greatly expanded the range of computer courses. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO . . . The Social Studies Department, un- der the guidance of Miss Frances Burns, provided students with a better under- standing of man, his governments, and his interaction with society. With the recent addition of the American Stud- ies Program, juniors had the opportuni- ty to study literature for insight and documentation of American history. Though only a year of U.S. History was required for graduation, a wide variety of courses was offered, from World Cultures and Modern History to Psy- chology and Economics.
