Principal ' s Message To the Class of 1983 As you approach your graduation, we are all reminded once again that it is a time of great change. Many of you will move on to institutions of higher learning which will bring a change in the level and intensity of your studies. For those who enter directly into a full-time working situa- tion, the adult system of self-support and individual re- sponsibility will become an immediate reality. For all of you there will be a major change in your associations, your social life and your personal experiences. Speaking for myself and the staff of Westwood High School, I wish you well and I express a sincere hope that your years here have prepared you academically and personally for whatever situation each of you may en- counter. I am sure each of you feels a very special close- ness to one or more members of the staff. May I suggest, respectfully, that you make your feelings known to these people, since their greatest reward is the knowledge that they have made a contribution to their students. Once again, best wishes for the future and my thanks for the contributions which you have made to the school as individuals and as a class. Vice-Principal ' s Message We tend to remember each class for its contributions to Westwood High School. During your tenure you were recognized for accomplishments in the classroom, in ath- letics, on the stage, and in a variety of activities that contribute so much to the excellence that is Westwood High School. I tend to remember the Class of 1983 for its spirit of co- operation and the personal qualities that were ever so evident throughout the entire class. You have matured and enriched your lives through lasting friendships that, in many cases, will continue for a lifetime. You have given freely of yourselves and prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. Your enthusiasm was contagious and set a fine example for the underclassmen. You are our success and the entire educational community stands proud. Please remain a part of Westwood High by keeping in contact with your teachers and classmates. Age Quod Agis.
