Laboratory experi- ments have been expanded to allow the student to discover basic principals for himself, rather than take some authors word for them. Occasional field trips prove that there are industrial uses for many of the seemingly impractical topics that are covered. The Science Depart- ment is constantly sending students to conferences and assisting them in various local and national contests. It also spon- sors the Astronomy and Photography Clubs. HP
