LANGUAGES Cultural Gap Bridged Through Understanding, French, Spanish, and Latin courses are offered by the Language Depart- ment. Understanding of Grammar and Pronunciation is stressed as necessary for good communication, as well as for appreciation of foreign literature.

Dorothy Saltmarsh The Science Department offers courses in general Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth Science. The needs of all students are met by the diversity of these courses, which range from the general to the highly advanced. The department sponsors a yearly science fair, in which the students exhibit their knowledge of scientific theory and application. 17
