SOPHOMORES The aims of the class of 46 are to try to be of service to the school and to engage in social activities. These aims have been fulfilled as the Sophomores published a book of school songs, yells and organizations. A skating party in November, a party in March and a picnic in May were held. Their aim was the organization of Juniors which they have accomplished. The first activity was selling coke to make money for the class. February 5 they sponsored the War Bond Victory Dance, which was one of the most successful dances of the year. They are also very proud of their athletic standing. Joe Doering, Bob Ferguson, Bud Lance and John Villalovas were outstanding players. The main event of the year was the Junior-Senior Prom, June 2. PRESIDENT .... VICE-PRESIDENT SECRETARY .... SHMEN To celebrate and to relax from their studies, the freshmen had a party on January 2, 1944, which lasted from seven to ten P.M. There was dancing in the music room and games in the game room. To increase their bank account, the freshmen sponsored the soft drink concession at the Halloween Dance. This year Miss I. Anderson was the adviser of the freshmen and their officers were as follows: President, Paul Bosetti; Vice President, David Lauer; Secretary, Shirley Eggleston; Treasurer, Donna Bosetti; Song Leader, Rose Collier; Yell Leader, Alice Florez. 16
