Student Council Student Government Plays Important Role At Westwood Student Government played an important role in the organization of Westwood. Representing the Associated Students of Westwood was the student council. It was their responsibility to direct all school activities. The student council consisted of the four executive officers, the class officers, and the presidents of Boys' and Girls' leagues. Other members were the nine committee directors and the foreign exchange student, Raffaele Reda. The student council advisors were Mr. Pat Pomeroy and Mr. Gary Clendenny. Leading Westwood's student government were the executive officers. Bob Coester served as Student Body President and Russ Kolsrud was the vice-president. Serving as the Recording Secretary was Mary Ann Arnett. The Corresponding Secretary-Treasurer was Liz Willis. The Student Body President, presided over the student council meetings and student assemblies. It was his duty to co-operate with the faculty and school administration.
