..-... Electives Offered to Seniors WWW. The social studies program at Westwood is one of the most my extensive in the state as four years in the subject are required for graduation. The required courses are geography, world history, American history, and American problems. Senior electives offered are psychology and home and family. The department also conducts the drivers training program, under the supervision of Mr. Cliff Spain. The thirty classroom hours are presented during the first six weeks of sophomore social studies. Behind-the-wheel driving is taught before and after school and on Saturdays. New teachers in the department this year were Mr. Gary Clen- denny, Mr. William Cooper, Mr. Craig Cummins, Mr. Hal Farrier, Mr. Jerry Ferguson, Mr. Ralph Hannon, Mr. Vannie Summers, Mr. Richard Van Dyne, Mr. Larry Vanderbeek, and Mr. G.
