Mrs. Cramer was also the sponsor of Future Nurses of America, a club whose mem- bers are interested in learning more about the nursing pro- fession. His main duty is to main- tain comfortable classroom conditions for effective learn- ing throughout the academic year. 15 DDNT Fancy NLNR ANNA CRAMER School Nurse Mrs. Irma Bodine joined the bookstore staff this year to assist manager Andre Messali in his countless duties. The bookstore took care of registration fees, handled the sale of text books, school supplies, sweat shirts, pictures, bus tickets, and other items, and deposited the monies for all school organizations. IEQI , Assisting teachers in discipline problems, aiding new students in adjusting to their new surroundings and helping with the planning of schedules are only a few of the coun- selor's duties and services. Along with an enlarged student body, faculty and office staff came two new counselors, Dr. Williain Young and Mrs. Joann Newton, to help solve Westwotmdsi numerous problems resulting from growth. Among their many duties was the collection, organiza- tion, and interpretation of information about college and employment opportunities for students. They also assisted the seniors with their plans for after graduation. College information for entrance examinations, require- ments and registration was provided through the counselors. They were also in charge of scholarship and vocational information, and aided the students in getting part time employment.
