Foreword I 4 It t l l As graduation draws nearer we find ourselves caught in a room with only two exits1 one which takes us back from whence we came, the other which leads to the future, We feel that it is some- times impossible to separate past from future, and therefore the two doors often appear to merge into one NVe are certain that because of our past at Vv'estwood High School, we will face a fuller, more meaningful future. And thus, with our hearts on the past, we wish to call up those moments of our years at Westwood which have done most to direct our future lives and which will live longest in our memories. And we begin where these doors merge more than we even yet realizeg where un- noticed and unheralded, and sometimes almost grudgingly, were born the embryos of what is yet to come, We begin in the classroom. 1 ' lll ll ,L
