KALUZA President Presiden t s Farewell When this copy of the Janus passes into your hands, you will see this class of seniors together for the last time. Our purpose here at school has been fulfilled, and now it is time for us to part. It is entirely up to us, as individuals, whether we are successes or failures. Success is not measured by positions or titles, neither can it be judged by fixed rules; but it depends on how much ability a person has and how he applies this ability. Let us never feel we are insignificant, no matter how small our part in life might be. Remember raindrops make a mighty ocean and bricks a massive wall. Life is a game of give and take. We must help others and receive help ourselves. Do not be afraid to give as much or more than you receive, for there is more joy in giving than there is in receiving. At this time we wish to express our sincere appreciation to our parents, who have made many sacrifices so that we might have an excellent start in life. Our thanks we also extend to the Faculty, who have helped us not only in school problems but also in personal problems as well. We shall always have a sense of indebtedness to all of you who have made it possible for us to become graduates of Westville High School. Classmates, it will be difficult for us to bid you farewell. We have formed genuine friendships, which will remain with us forever. We suggest that you fully prepare yourself for the opportunities that will be given to you when you have graduated. The time has now come when we must part; thus it is with fond admiration and deep sorrow that we say An Revoir, classmates, from the class of 1955. John Kai.u a [22]
