STUDENT COUNCIL The student council, headed by the president of the Senior Class, Harry Shaw, with Mr. Thomas as advisor, undertakes to solve all school problems. Various questions concerning school events are settled by this body. At their monthly meetings they plan the matinee dances, and select part of the Owls and the queen candidates for Homecoming and May Fete. Each class is represented by two representatives except the Senior Class which has three representatives. The members of this organization help to bring the faculty, board of education, and the students closer together in solving the problems of the school. The Student Council practices self government, the basis of all democracy.
