clan of ic Pete Fuhrer's, Let's have some quiet here, and Dotty Brown's, C'mon y'a1l, are two familiar phrases of our second term president and his side-kick. These capable students have skillfully governed the eighty-one members of '58, It is no easy job to organize class parties, to bring order to the hubbub of a meeting, to meet deadlines in class business, and to constantly think of new and constructive ideas, yet '58 has had nothing to worry about. The fact is unanimously acknowledged that these two have done their work to perfection. Susie Borton, secretary, and Henry Chen, treasurer, have been re- sponsible for many of the important but unglamorous, thankless, business matters, such as taking notes, collecting dues, and bookkeeping. A special round of applause should be sent their way for keeping the class running so smoothly!

J Jie afce Whenever a gloomy moment arose, there was Nan Brown with a cheerful word and a cup of tea, thought of acute fatigue and perfunctory routine Qand term papers D soon vanished. Her seemingly endless flow of energy has heightened our enthusiasm for all our traditional Senior activities, such as the Christmas caroling, the Senior Play, and, of course, the many parties. But perhaps the impromptu events that the Browns dreamt up were the most fun of allg the making of snow ice cream, or that mem- orable Chester Creek canoe trip. Nan, in appreciation for your store of ideas, your up to anything spirit, the tea, popcorn, and cookies,we proudly dedicate our Amicus to you. may ne Colonel . . . The peanut vender . . .
