To Whom it may concern: I should like to recommend Miss Ethel Link as a hrst Class chemist. She specializes in research and is intensely interested in it. Her record has been excellent even in her beginning course at VVesttown School. In her whole edu- cation she has been a good all around student and has a line background for her work. Here in college we have been extremely pleased with the initiative she has shown and her capability in writing up her finds. I am sure you will find her prompt in everything. She has been one of the few students we have seen who is always ready to hand her work in before it is due. You will find her extremely easy to get along with and a pleasant companion in work. Dear Mr. Einstein: Ilve heard that you have done quite a bit in the mathematical line, and I thought that I might be able to use you. Ilve read some of your theories, and, while I can point out their defects in most cases without the aid of paper, I can see that they show intelligent thinking, and I suspect that With a little training, yoqu be just the man to assist me. I warn you, it will be hard going for the first twenty years or so, but well make it in the end. I certainly am bored by the stupid mathematics teacher here at Westtown. Sincerely HADLEY E.
