Our first game helped to heighten these spirits even more, for we conquered Bellevue 12-2. Despite the fact that we bowed to our opponents in our next two contests-- Blair, 6-0, and Ralston, 13-7--the margins were small and not for one minute did we lose 'confidence in our team. In our next game, although not victorious, we tied Plattsmouth 7-7 in an ex- c-iting game, the loss of which later cost us the tie for the conference cham- 48 pionship. This game was the beginning of a winning streak which lasted the remainder of the season. We won our last three games by defeating Louisville 32-O, Valley 19-O, and, on the night of our Homecoming, the boys charged on to a 32-20 victory over Wahoo.
