This is the first class to be so honored. It is in truth a new It departure, for the first year pupils lose the certificate given to nll students finishing 2 the seven years of elementary work. So at last the junior high school is recognized as a unit in the Kansas City school system of six years in elementary schools, two years in junior high, three years in senior high, and two years in junior college.
